What we do

We verify independent consultants, present their expertise and track record in a public directory, and give each member a professional name.konsultan.or.id address. Organisations can search the directory themselves or ask a curator for a shortlist.

How we curate

1. Automated checks. Required fields, both consents, and address availability.
2. Identity and level check. A curator confirms the person is real, the career level matches the record, and the bio is accurate. About seven working days.
3. Decision. Approved, returned for revision, or declined with reasons. Borderline cases go to two further curators; no curator reviews anyone they have worked with or are related to.
4. Listing. The profile goes live and the address is activated.

The junior level does not require a long record. One visible piece of work, at least three months of structured experience, or a recommendation from a mid-level member or above is enough. Declined applicants may reapply after three months.

Web & email address

Every verified member receives name.konsultan.or.id, pointing to their own website or to their directory profile. One person, one address, in their own name; the destination site must be live and use HTTPS. Verified members also have a potential @konsultan.or.id email address.

Code of Ethics

Eight principles every member accepts on joining.

1. Truthful representation.

   I claim only the experience, roles and expertise I have genuinely held.

2. No lending of names.

   I do not lend my CV to a bid I will not deliver, nor use another person's CV without their consent and real involvement.

3. Disclosure of interests.

   I tell clients of any relationship or engagement that could affect my objectivity.

4. Confidentiality.

   I protect client information and respondent data, and use neither beyond the assignment without consent.

5. Intellectual integrity.

   I do not plagiarise, use data without attribution, or present a team's work as my own.

6. Financial integrity.

   I do not inflate costs, give or accept bribes, or falsify expenses or timesheets.

7. Respect and safeguarding.

   I work without discrimination, protect vulnerable people, and do not engage in harassment of any kind.

8. Collegiality.

   I share opportunity and knowledge with those earlier in their careers, and compete without undermining peers.

Each member practises in their own name. Using a name.konsultan.or.id or @konsultan.or.id address does not mean speaking for konsultan.or.id.

Raising a concern

If you find a profile that is misleading, uses someone else's identity or breaches the Code of Ethics, send us the profile address and a short description. The member concerned is always given the chance to respond. Suspension or removal is decided by at least three curators with no conflict of interest.
